Online embodied meditation series with Jane Shaw
Seven week embodied meditation series with Jane Shaw
Take an hour each week to pause and to sit in gentle guided meditation to help rest, restore and recover your self. Experience a deep sense of safety in the body.
The meditation programme is based on the theory and research of body-centred trauma recovery practices developed by Peter Levine, Babette Rothchild, Bessel van der Kolk, Stephen Porges and others. The objective is to support participants through learning breathing and body awareness practices which help regulate their neurophysiology, and thus offer strategies for greater functionality and balanced living. Each practice is simple, accessible and effective. By resourcing the participant, new neural pathways are developed to flexibly manage daily challenges and stressors. Through longer term practice, individuals are able to experience more vitality and resilience in the body.
Jane Shaw has been teaching mediation for over 15 years. Her meditation practice is informed by her work as a craniosacral practitioner and trauma therapist, as well as her conscious self-exploration and lived experience.
This meditation programme starts Tuesday 2nd August at 7.30pm. The series will be recorded so if you join after 2nd you will be able to listen to any sessions you miss. The full series will be sent to you at the end of the seven weeks.
